Terms of Service
These Terms apply when you use the Laundrify website or book one of our laundry, dry cleaning or specialty care services. By using our service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
About Laundrify
Laundrify provides laundry pickup and delivery, dry cleaning, pressing, home textiles care and specialty care across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Our service includes scheduled collection from your address, cleaning at our facility, and return delivery.
Booking and confirmation
You may book a pickup through our website form, by WhatsApp, or by phone. After a booking is submitted, we typically follow up to confirm the pickup window and any specific notes about your order. Bookings are considered confirmed once we acknowledge them.
We reserve the right to decline or postpone bookings, for example, when items are outside our service scope, when our facility is at capacity, or where we are unable to deliver to a specified location.
Pricing
Our published rates are indicative. Final pricing may vary based on item type, condition, quantity, fabric and location. Pricing for specialty or high-value items is typically quoted on inspection before any work begins. Express turnaround, where available, is charged at a premium over standard pricing.
By accepting a quote, either verbally, by message, or by handing items over for collection, you agree to the pricing applicable to that order.
Turnaround time
We aim for a standard turnaround of approximately 24 hours, and offer faster express service for selected items at select locations. Turnaround times are estimates and can be affected by order volume, fabric type, item condition and external factors (such as public holidays). We will let you know if we expect a delay.
Pickup, delivery and access
Pickup and delivery are free within our service area. To help us deliver reliably, we ask that:
- Someone is available to hand over the order during the agreed pickup window, or that arrangements are made with your building reception or household
- The pickup address you provide is accurate and accessible
- You let us know in advance of any access restrictions, gate codes or specific delivery instructions
If a pickup or delivery cannot be completed due to issues outside our control, we will work with you to reschedule.
Items and their condition
Items submitted for cleaning are assumed to be appropriate for the service requested. Please empty pockets and remove personal items before handover. Laundrify is not responsible for personal items, valuables, jewellery, electronics or cash left in pockets or attached to garments.
Some fabrics and finishes are inherently delicate, may already show wear, or carry care labels that limit how they can be cleaned. We will take reasonable care to treat each item appropriately, but pre-existing damage, weakness or wear may sometimes only become visible during the cleaning process. We treat such cases on a case-by-case basis.
Specialty items
For high-value, designer, vintage, leather, suede, embroidered or otherwise unusual items, we typically inspect on intake and provide a treatment plan with pricing before any work begins. If you prefer not to proceed after inspection, we will return the item without treatment.
Loss or damage
We take reasonable care of every item that comes into our hands and operate quality checks throughout our process. In the rare event of loss or damage to an item while in our care, we will discuss the matter with you in good faith and work toward a fair resolution.
Our maximum liability for any single item is capped at three (3) times the service fee paid for cleaning that specific item, regardless of its original purchase price, replacement cost or assessed value. This cap applies to all claims arising from a given order.
Claims regarding loss or damage should be raised promptly after the affected order is returned, and in any event within a reasonable timeframe.
Payment
Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking or at collection. We accept commonly used local payment methods. Outstanding balances should be settled before or upon delivery, unless other arrangements have been agreed.
Cancellations and changes
You may cancel or change a booking by contacting us as early as possible. We are usually able to accommodate changes made before our driver has been dispatched. For specialty work that has already started, we will discuss any costs already incurred with you.
Limitation of liability
Our service is provided on a reasonable-care basis. Laundrify is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our service. Our liability for any direct claim related to an item is subject to the cap described under “Loss or damage” above.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather events, public emergencies, utility failures, or restrictions imposed by competent authorities.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to bookings made after the “Last reviewed” date shown above. Continued use of our service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute that we are unable to resolve amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
