What's included
Care that matches the gown.
- Photographed and quoted first. We photograph the dress, map every stain, and flag any loose beadwork, then send you the plan and the price. Nothing starts until you approve it.
- Each part treated on its own. Bodice, embellishment, skirt and veil are cleaned to suit their fabric, by hand where the piece needs it, never in one rough cycle.
- The stains that yellow later, handled now. Champagne, sugar and body oils turn yellow-brown over months in a wardrobe. We lift them at the fibre so they don't surface in storage.
- Hand-finished, never tunnel-pressed. Structured bodices and fine skirts are pressed by hand, so the shape holds and the fabric keeps its drape.
Preservation boxing
Keep it for the long term.
If you want to store the dress long term, ask about preservation boxing. We clean the gown, layer it in acid-free tissue, and pack it for storage away from heat and damp, the conditions that yellow a gown over the years. Mention it when you book and we will fold it into your quote.
